The current NATO doctrine is AJP-3.3 Edition C (February 2026), Allied Joint Doctrine for Air and Space Operations. It describes how air and space operations are planned and how military space capability supports the joint force. A separate doctrine for space operations, AJP-3.29 (Allied Joint Doctrine for Space Operations), is in development and expected in early 2027; the space content of AJP-3.3 will then be aligned with it.
